Those interested in joining FEMORS should start the application process by emailing a current resume or Curriculum Vitae to FEMORS Administration: uf-femors@ufl.edu and express an interest in joining.
Upon receipt of your resume or Curriculum Vitae, your level of expertise will be evaluated for classification. The results will be forwarded to UF’s HR staff for initial processing. You will receive notice from HR on the next steps to take.
Additionally, all potential applicants should complete the following NIMS coursework and keep certificates of completion on file:
National Incident Management System (NIMS) coursework
- IS-100.C: Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100
- IS-200.C: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS-200
- IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
- IS-800.D: National Response Framework, An Introduction
